Dr. Patel is an interventional cardiologist. He recently completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia and earned his medical degree from the BJ Medical College in Gujarat, India. During his fellowships at the UA, he was a chief cardiology fellow. While at Mercer University School of Medicine, Dr. Patel was the associate program director of the Internal Medicine Residency program, associate program director for the Clinical Skill Department and assistant professor. He was also the lead researcher in clinical research. Dr. Patel has co-authored numerous professional articles and has presented at regional and national conferences. He is experienced in transradial percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), structural heart diseases, high-risk PCI with hemodynamic support, and management of adult complex congenital heart disease. Dr. Patel is board certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine.

A great experience. I got the arrival time for new patients. Everyone was kind to me while I waited. I was called back to doctors' offices 5 minutes before my scheduled time. Dr P was great as he listened to me and listened to my heart. I told him about my tiredness and hasI live exhausted which is very unusual for me. I have gone from walking 5 miles a day to becoming a"Couch Potato" 5 months. I see things that I should be doing at home and I feel too worn out to do anything. The back of my head where my neck meets my skull hurts from the moment I get out of bed in the morning to bedtime. I was in a real end collision in Michigan in 2017. I was told my EMS that the snow tires in trunk & the back seat saved my life.

Moses was the person doing the Echo Cardiogram. He was very informative, courteous and mindful of my privacy. Moses explained what he was doing and why as he conducted the test. He is very personable and knowledgeable. Had the same test at Pima Heart and Vascular in April 2023 and It was not even close to being as great as way Moses conducted the test.

The Dr and the medical staff were nice including the lady that took the blood. The phlebotomist is awesome, it only took one try to get my blood. Because I had no idea what it means to have the condition of A-Fib, he made it very clear why, what and how I am to take the meds he prescribed. I was to be informed, happy to leave knowing I'd be able to pickup the medicine that day, Thursday and begin taking it the next day, before taking a flight to Eastern Canada. Just got my blood work done this morning, so expect to see the Doc in the next couple weeks for a stress test, etc. All is good as we began to work together for my best health.

I now think the reason the visit was extraordinarily positive as opposed to some other doctor offices is that each area did their piece with such expertise and heart. He was good at letting me know everything is ok with me, all the tests came back normal, and telling me I'm ok and didn't tell me it was all in my head and explained why my situation was that way and its normal. It put me at ease of mind to not worry about it. He assured me it wasn't a big concern just normal. He went ahead and ordered tests for me even though it was normal to just be sure I'm ok anyways.

There was a delay before Dr. Patel was able to see me, but assistants checked on me frequently. They made sure I was comfortable. When Dr. Patel did get there, he was totally awesome. I actually ENJOY going to that venue.

all these questions about doctors/staff friendliness - what about competency? I had to request that they make sure doc had results of 2 studies he ordered - over and over again. Where are the questions about quality of care?
