Dr. Kelly Favre is a board certified general surgeon, practicing in Tucson for over 21 years. She is originally from Wisconsin and found her home in the Sonoran Desert with her surgical residency. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School in 1997 and has been board certified since completing her General Surgery Residency at the University of Arizona in 2002. She has extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic techniques, and minimally invasive surgeries for the following: abdominal wall/groin hernias, hiatal or paraesophageal hernias, GERD/reflux, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, and adhesions. She also provides comprehensive and state of the art breast cancer consultations and surgeries as well as for benign breast disorders. She has cared for breast cancer patients over two decades and offers ultrasound guided breast biopsy, genetic testing for cancer mutations, hidden scar lumpectomy approach, sentinel node biopsy, and all techniques for mastectomy (skin-sparing, nipple-sparing, coordinating with plastics for immediate reconstruction). She appreciates the privilege of providing health care to her patients and has earned first-rate accolades such as: Top Doctor, Compassionate Doctor, Top Reviewed Doctor, Patient Choice Award amongst others. She was a scholarship sprinter in college and enjoys hiking, professional sports, music, cooking and travel.

With the exception of the Nurse taking my vitals, the Doctor (Favre) saw me the entire visit. She was much, much more than very good. Very polite, professional, sympathetic, knowledgeable, and much more. A wonderful doctor who takes the time to explain your condition and what needs to be done. She will answer any questions, and/or repeat and discuss further anything you want or need to know.

We have been referring patients to Dr Kelly Favre for over 15 years. This is the first time I have had the pleasure of meeting her and obviously this is for my own personal needs. Very professional doctor and medical assistant. This was an important first appointment for me and I felt like the doctor and her assistant really and genuinely cared : they listened to me and answered my questions. Dr Favre happily took the time that is truly required and should be required to spend with all patients at all medical offices. I have been at many doctors offices and most are only interested in rushing you out in 5 minutes, as if they work for the health insurance company.

I just have to say that I was in pain for 11 years , and no Doctor (3) took the time to really see what was causing it ! I had a lower abdominal pain ! Until I meet Doctor KELLY ANN FAVRE! This office is undergoing a transition to a new provider with new systems and processes. The experience I had is not a true reflection on the staff because of their new systems. I saw improvement in their customer service as they settled into the new processes. Dr. Farve is an exceptional surgeon with well honed skills in her trade. She deserves the best customer service staff to compliment her skills. I am confident that the office staff will meet my expectations very quickly as they learn their new processes.
